FAQs

Do I need a referral from my PCP or a specialist for an evaluation or for treatment?

No

All of my referrals are accepted through direct contact from the client ONLY.

If your PCP wants to refer you, please ask them to have you contact me directly.

No referrals from other providers are required.

Do you accept insurance for evaluations?

I am a preferred provider with BlueCross BlueShield and Moda. These evaluations will be billed through insurance once an insurance check has been done to determine benefits.

For peace of mind evaluations, these will be billed through insurance.

For all other evaluations that are out of network, payment is made by the client at the time of service. These payments can be in one payment or at the beginning of each evaluation session. A super-bill will be provided to you at the end of the evaluation so that you can submit this directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. An insurance check to determine benefits will also be done by us prior to scheduling.

Do you accept insurance for treatment?

I am a preferred provider with BlueCross Blue Shield and Moda.

I accept most major insurance companies as out of network providers.

Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid, or Oregon Health Plan insurance?

No. I do not accept these insurance plans in my practice.

You say you’re not accepting new clients. Do you have a waitlist?

For treatment and therapy:
No, I do not keep a waitlist. I don’t know when openings in my schedule will become available and would prefer clients to seek services immediately.

For evaluations:
I schedule out for a maximum of 6 months. If my schedule is full, I will encourage you to contact me again and will try to provide other resources for you to look into so you can get an evaluation as soon as possible.

Do you work with children or teenagers?

At this time, I am only accepting clients who are 18 years old or above.

Do you offer ABA Services?

No. I provide psychological treatment services for a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns for individuals on the autism spectrum.

I do not provide ABA Services. For information on ABA providers, the Autism Society of Oregon maintains a list of providers in the community.
